- cost estimation: prepare and submit highly accurate, competitive cost estimates and bids utilizing platforms such as stackct, planhub, and building connected.
- pricing architecture: assist in building, managing, and optimizing the client's internal pricing and cost libraries.
- code compliance: apply relevant u.s. construction code standards and best practices (familiarity with california plumbing codes is a major advantage).
- strategic collaboration: act as a key liaison between the estimating department and the us-based operations manager/owner to ensure bid timeliness, strategy alignment, and operational efficiency.
- data & analytics: analyze bid win/loss data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving process efficiency.the ideal candidate- location: must be based in latin america.
- industry experience: 2-3+ years of direct, relevant experience as an estimator in the plumbing, sewer, or general construction industry.you must know your way around plumbing infrastructure.
(previous experience estimating for the us market is highly preferred).
- communication: exceptional, fluent english communication skills (both written and verbal).
you must be able to confidently articulate estimates, ask critical questions, and coordinate seamlessly with us-based stakeholders on calls.
- technical proficiency: hands-on experience with estimating software like stackct, planhub, building connected, or similar takeoff platforms.
- workspace infrastructure (byod): this is a strict bring your own device (byod) role; we do not provide hardware or equipment.you must already possess a high-performance work-from-home (wfh) setup (e.g., a reliable computer, high-quality microphone/headset, and dual monitors if possible) and maintain a quiet, professional environment dedicated to focused work and clear client calls.
- internet requirements: a highly reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 mbps (download and upload) is strictly required to ensure seamless video conferencing and screen sharing.
