about you:_*
- bachelors in finance or economics or commerce
- masters or phd in data science/statistics/econometrics or analytics (must have)
- typically 10+ years in a data scientist role
- excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-nn, naive bayes, svm, decision forests, etc.
- experience with common data science toolkits, such as r, python is required.
- experience with data visualization tools, such as power bi, d3.js, rshiny etc.
- proficiency in using query languages such as sql or hive
- experience with nosql databases, such as mongodb or cassandra.
enhanced pattern recognition techniques
- good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression etc.
- good scripting & programming skills and someone who is data-oriented
- excellent ability to analyze and organize data to unveil opportunities
- strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
