We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of
*hr advisory senior manager*
*role purpose*:
leads a team of people advisors, to be the trusted partners empowering managers and employees with proactive guidance, that drives sustainable business success
*main activities*:
- support navigation of current changes to structure and ways of working by providing leadership to the team, shifting focus from reactive support to proactive business coaching on people issues
- support complex interpretation of people policy and procedures and provide oversight of some complex events which need higher touch handling (e.g. Business change) in consultation with business partner, hr consultants and coe teams where required
- improve the employee experience by using case management and knowledge tools, and use feedback from stakeholders to continue improve service offering by working in partnership with the gsos and coe’s
- actively participate in current change activities to improve ways of working, simplify policies and procedures and improve customer experience
- lead and manages end-to-end execution of large scale business changes and people plans that foster workforce effectiveness and efficiencies, whilst mitigating any legal, people or reputational risk
- drive the focus on a blend of innovations and operational excellence through maximizing digital technology; supports automation, reduces complexity and drives the up-skilling of capabilities to build trusted advisors to connect and enhance customer experience
- uplift the manager capability with advisory support through targeted initiatives and training to manage complex people issues.
- proactively identify and analyse trends on people risks via case management to mitigate emerging risks and reduce escalations by sharing observations with business partners and coe’s
requirements- ability to demonstrate strong leadership, influencing, facilitation & stakeholder management skills across all levels of management
- proven experience with change management, specifically related to business transformation
- ability to thrive under pressure in a matrix environment with conflicting demands
- a sound working knowledge of hr policies and procedures, er services with a strong emphasis on the hong kong labour ordinance
- deep understanding of operational risk and experience in identifying & implementing controls to mitigate such risks
- possesses and employs strong critical thinking and problem-solving acumen
- confidence is communicating with senior stakeholders and proven experience in dealing with senior stakeholders directly on complex matters
