about the role
drive the future of pd&i by leading our digital transformation and technical standardization. You will leverage ai tools like gemini and notebooklm to automate documentation, optimize engineering best practices, and build intelligent simulators. As a global collaborator, you'll influence engineering teams and suppliers worldwide to standardize equipment excellence across our global operations.
responsibilities
* research best practices for equipment and installation designs using ai tools, the internet, colgate engineering worldwide, and suppliers to be included in our technical information letters.
* design, implement, and manage intelligent agents, simulators and digital systems, using ai tools such as gemini and notebook.
* work to meet the documentation strategy, complete defined priority documents, and support the achievement of established innovation goals through the use of ai tools.
* create and organize pd&i documentation to compare and improve installations, facilitate standardized installations for new projects, and establish a baseline for current ones.
* integrate engineering knowledge with real industry practices and exposure to different areas of the company as part of a new way of working.
required qualifications
* at least 2 years of experience in chemical plants, projects and/or engineering services companies. Skilled in process manufacturing equipment (tanks, reactors, agitators, and pumps).
* bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related technical field.
* advanced knowledge of the google ecosystem (gemini, notebooklm), artificial intelligence, frameworks for agent creation, and use of databases.
* advanced english level.
preferred qualifications
* high capacity for analysis, information synthesis, and logical reasoning for complex problem solving.
* excellent communication, fluent oral and written communication for the research and writing of documents.
* collaboration, influencing and leadership skills.
* availability to create plans and prioritize.
