compensation: rate per hour will depend on experience
schedule: flexible; developed collaboratively with the selected candidate
travel: daily travel between frontera clinic locations (company vehicle provided)

key responsibilities
* clean and sanitize exam rooms, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, and common areas on established schedules.
* sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
* empty trash and dispose of waste properly, including regulated medical waste per protocol.
* refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other consumable supplies.
* disinfect high-touch surfaces following healthcare infection control guidelines.
* use, store, and track cleaning supplies and equipment safely and responsibly.
* report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to your supervisor promptly.
* follow all frontera safety, hipaa, and confidentiality policies.
* perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
requirements
qualifications
* high school diploma or equivalent.
* prior janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred—especially in healthcare or clinical settings.
* ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and move between locations as needed.
* valid texas driver's license required.
working conditions
this is an active, physical role. You should be comfortable with:
* lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
* extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and pushing equipment.
* working in clinical environments, including occasional exposure to biohazardous materials with appropriate ppe provided.
* traveling between clinic sites daily within the frontera service area.
