casr coe team is responsible for the preparation of required statutory financial statements for hp entities as well as driving comprehensive statutory audit end-to-end excellence with ey. Our teams combine a blend of central and country expertise to deliver a consistent and standardized approach to the financial statement preparation process as well as statutory audit.
responsibilities
* end-to-end ownership of statutory audits for all the legal entities assigned with diverse natures by working closely with external auditors.
* preparation of financial statements as per accounting standards.
* collaboration with controllers and other stakeholders to ensure complete analysis of the financial statements.
* standardization and automation of all the audit schedules and audit processes for the scope of entities.
* end-to-end knowledge of accounting processes, and accounting principles (ifrs, us gaap, and other accounting frameworks).
* proficient in understanding of statutory reporting process, gaap bridging & financial statement preparation.
* supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
* identifies issues and proposes solutions.
education and experience required
first-level university degree focused on business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., acca, cpa, mba) preferred. Typically, 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst, or controller. Typically experienced in more than one finance function. A previous experience in one of the big 4 will be a plus.
