As a quality assembly supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer and aptiv requirements are met within the final assembly area processes. Your goal will be to maintain 100% compliance with customer-specific requirements, control plan execution, and pfmea updates.
the ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards. They will also be proficient in developing, documenting, and enforcing standardized work procedures to drive consistency and efficiency across operations.
additionally, the successful candidate will be skilled in applying methodologies such as 8d, a3, or root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex issues systematically. They will also have experience in creating and managing control plans to monitor and maintain product and process quality throughout the production cycle.
in this role, you will conduct thorough product audits to verify compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. You will also manage non-conforming products, including identification, segregation, disposition, and corrective action implementation. Furthermore, you will implement and manage lpa systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement at all organizational levels.
strong knowledge of the complete manufacturing process, including build of process (bop) and build of tooling (bot), is essential for this position. The candidate must also be proactive in identifying and sharing best practices across departments or sites to foster continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
