* configure and customize financial accounting (fi) and controlling (co) modules for new sites/regions according to global template standards
* conduct fit-gap analysis between global template and local requirements, particularly around statutory reporting, tax compliance, and local gaap
* design and configure chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and cost element accounting aligned with template design
* set up company codes, business areas, and organizational structures for rollout entities
* configure integration points with sd, mm, pp, and other modules ensuring consistency across the rollout landscape
* lead workshops with local finance teams to understand region-specific requirements and ensure user adoption
* develop functional specifications for any custom developments, reports, or interfaces required for local compliance
* execute data migration activities including opening balances, master data, and historical transactional data
* conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support uat phases with business users
* prepare training materials and deliver end-user training sessions
* provide hypercare support post go-live and ensure smooth transition to support teams
required skills
* deep expertise in at least three of the following core fico configuration including gl, ap, ar, aa, cost center accounting, profitability analysis, and product costing
* experience with localization requirements across multiple countries/regions
* understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting requirements
* excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for working with global and local teams
preferred qualifications
* s/4hana fico experience with other global implementations and/or rollouts
* certification in sap finance or sap controlling
