responsibilities
* coordinate actions; administer resources to meet the weekly schedules in a timely manner, with quality and efficiency.
* administer human resources in terms of attendance, overtime, permissions based on company policies.
* investigate process waste by implementing corrective actions, seeking continual improvement.
* follow up on continuous improvement projects, ensuring completion on time.
* ensure the quality management system is implemented in the areas under charge.
* identify and provide training to personnel under your command.
* develop and monitor corrective and preventive actions from opportunities.
* coordinate group leader activities.
* establish control mechanisms for wip.
* assist in planning future production weeks. Promote safety practices and ensure safety systems are followed.
* coordinate with other departments for npi releases.
* interview and select new operators.
education
* college degree required.
experience
* at least 3 years of experience in production under iso 9000 environment.
