in this role, you will make an impact by evaluating and solving everyday manufacturing problems related to design, process, and supplier issues for the manufacture of high-quality electronic assemblies. You will provide technical support to operations in the form of enabling and improving the flow of manufacturing utilizing the principles of industrial engineering.
*what you will do*:
- conduct research to evaluate potential solutions related to changes in equipment selection, procedures, manpower, or training to ensure the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow
- establishe and implements quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs
- review and provides analytical input to documents, such as proposals or other operational procedures, to support studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems
- plan the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings
- drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps
- support production build operators with immediate needs on tooling and processes to meet production schedule
- conduct process flow analysis and make improvements
- develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates
- implement procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity
- provide information to management as the status of equipment, manpower, space and other elements affecting manufacturing
- provide input or guidance to lower level professional and technical staff
*qualifications* you must have*:
- requires a university degree in engineering and minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- must be able to work in 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm)
- must have relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- valid visa is required
- intermediate to advanced proficiency in microsoft excel
- strong communication and presentation skills
- excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
*qualifications* we preferred*:
- project management relevant experience
- bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or any other related field (electronics, mechatronics or mechanical).
- lean manufacturing knowledge
- solidworks experience
