Job summary
the manager - ebs will be responsible for overseeing the center's daily operations, with a strong focus on financial control management.
the ideal candidate is an expert in financial accounting, with in-depth knowledge of ifrs & us gaap regulations, and possesses strong skills in optimizing operational processes in a dynamic environment.
key responsibilities:
* support in supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the financial services center, ensuring operational and financial processes are carried out accurately and efficiently.
* manage accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations.
* plan, coordinate, and oversee projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
* develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency. Establish and monitor performance indicators for operations.
* supervise the accounting and operations team, fostering professional development and ensuring a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including us gaap, ifrs, tax regulations, and internal audits.
* work closely with internal and external audit teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
* manage relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* propose and drive work plans and processes, coordinate contributions from other teams to achieve objectives, and adapt as needed to ensure compliance.
* identify areas for improvement in operational processes and propose solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
* act as a liaison between countries, crm, and gsm to ensure the successful execution of global services within the operational framework to achieve operational excellence, transformation, and continuous improvement.
* drive systematic and sustainable changes in accounting processes that help anticipate significant risks in advance.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree in finance or business management is a plus.
* minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role within the financial-accounting sector, preferably with a focus on the accounting cycle and compliance.
* advanced english proficiency (c1+).
* experience in internal control and/or auditing.
specific knowledge:
* strong knowledge of financial accounting, particularly in financial management and payments.
* expertise in accounting regulations (ifrs, us gaap, others).
* experience supervising teams and managing financial operational processes.
technical skills:
* advanced proficiency in accounting tools.
* advanced excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, etc.).
