*what's the job?*
we are currently recruiting a plant controller who will carry out with all the finance department reporting to our general manager and our cfo.
*role and responsibilities*:
responsible for the activities related to accounting, budgeting, costs and others, which involve the control and presentation of data of a plant of the company. Implements the area's operating procedures, in accordance with internal policies/directives. Establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparation of financial reports, and safeguarding of the organization's assets, including accounts payable and/or receivable. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, and regulatory and management reports. Performs cost maintenance, absorption accounting, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets. You may also be responsible for company travel and expense policies.
*main activities*
- responsible for the preparation of the company's budgets, through the consolidation of the information of the areas with the objective of a good decision making. Responsible for the elaboration of the weekly forecasts of the company for decision making and visualization of the information of the areas.
- responsible for the correct control of the company's cash flow, suggestion of ideas for continuous improvement and detection of areas of opportunity that guarantee a reduction of costs and new treasury alternatives. Responsible for supervising and guiding the accounts receivable area for compliance in portfolio days and to avoid overdue balances that imply a collection risk.
joint administration with the area responsible for the iso ts 16949 quality system and specifically the elements of the standard that apply to it. (according to the matrix of responsibilities)
