Role summary: we are seeking a results-driven business development manager / account manager to drive growth in the mexican automotive and manufacturing engineering sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, expanding engineering services and staffing solutions, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts. Key responsibilities: new business development: identify and target potential clients in the automotive and manufacturing engineering space across mexico. Pitch and sell engineering services (design, prototyping, testing) and staffing solutions (contract, permanent, and project-based hiring). Develop a strong sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets. Account management: serve as the primary point of contact for existing key accounts. Understand client needs and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional engineering services and staffing support. Market intelligence: stay updated on trends in the mexican automotive and manufacturing sectors. Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to the management team. Collaboration: work closely with the recruitment and delivery teams to ensure seamless deployment of talent. Coordinate with technical teams to align service offerings with client requirements. Qualifications & requirements: experience:5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales within the engineering services or staffing industry. Industry knowledge:strong understanding of the automotive and manufacturing engineering sectors in mexico. Language skills:fluency in spanish and english (mandatory). Proven track record:demonstrated ability to bring in new business and manage client relationships. Skills:excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Local market knowledge:understanding of local labor laws, staffing compliances, and engineering talent landscape in mexico is a plus.
