As a delivery manager, you will be part of our technology management team, responsible for designing team compositions, supporting recruitment, and building and developing software engineering teams throughout all stages of their evolution. You will operate in complex delivery environments, typically consisting of several agile teams that incrementally build software platforms and provide ongoing engineering support to our clients, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business value. We expect a delivery manager at forte to be technically proficient, with a solid understanding of agile sdlc, product management, solution architecture, qa, dev ops, and sre practices. Practical experience using ai tools to enhance performance across all stages of the sdlc — including product management, software development, and quality assurance — is required. You will contribute by leading commercial engagements and participating in internal improvement initiatives, including cross-geo collaboration between delivery units in north and south america and europe. The role also involves participating in sales activities when required, supporting account management, and contributing to marketing efforts, for example by presenting client business cases. We are looking for someone who has already applied ai within the sdlc and can facilitate and guide the introduction of ai-enabled workflows across software engineering teams in product management, software development, quality assurance, and potentially dev ops. Responsibilities in team management you are expected to build, grow, and transform forte delivery teams in close collaboration with engineering management and client-side business stakeholders. This includes ensuring that teams are properly staffed in agreed locations, with the required roles and qualifications, aligned with the defined team structure, trained in agreed ways of working and tools, and effectively onboarded. You are responsible for ensuring that teams are fully equipped for productive work, including access to necessary tools, systems, permissions, and environments. You will maintain transparency and provide clear visibility into team performance, capacity, and deliverables to management both within forte and on the client side.
