* j.p. Morgan payments business transformation is a strategic and execution-focused group. Payments sits at the intersection of finance and technology in an industry undergoing a major transformation.
* business transformation supports the business on a project basis, where projects are team-based and include regular interaction with j.p. Morgan payments executives.

key responsibilities

* lead project strategic execution projects, ensuring the working organization is aligned with project goals and objectives, providing guidance, motivation, and support to the project team.
* lead conversations, drive strategic tasking and capture main requirements from key stakeholders and project participants.
* collaborate with senior stakeholders and business leads to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with bank priorities and strategic objectives.
* collect, analyze and report project data, including status updates, milestones, and kpis from initiatives and projects.
* prepare project status reports, executive summaries, scorecards, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting risks, watch items, timelines and other metrics as established for the project.
* coordinate project meetings, workshops, agendas, minutes, and action items.
* communicate effectively across the organization through verbal and written updates, participate in conversations and war rooms to trigger actions toward project objectives.
* manage risks and issues for prompt resolution; leverage counterparty and management team resources for creative resolution and mitigation strategies.
* escalate when required and ensure consistency with resolution seeking.
* act as an agent of change, promoting an evolving organization driven by market trends, client needs or strategic decisions.

qualifications

* 7+ years in internal/external management consulting with a focus on strategic business transformation.
* payments experience preferred; wholesale banking and b2b payments background is a plus.
* excellent communication skills (oral and written).
* problem solving and ability to structure problems; project and process management skills.
* pmp and/or scrum master certification is a plus.
* open to developmental feedback from peers.
* advanced ms excel and powerpoint; familiarity with analytical and data visualization tools (tableau, r, sas, etc.).
* experience with monday, jira and other agile tools for project scrum is a plus.
* proficient in english; portuguese is a plus.

key responsibilities

* leadership, communication and conflict-resolution skills; ability to build consensus.
* analytical problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate feasibility and optimize designs.

* experience with mid-sized wan service providers or organizations managing third-party delivery.
* cross-border connectivity projects and multi-carrier integrations.
* roles such as delivery manager, implementation lead, service delivery coordinator, or carrier manager.
