*key responsibilities*:
- analyze healthcare claims data to extract insights, support decision-making, and optimize business processes.
- develop and maintain complex sql queries, leveraging analytics functions for data extraction and manipulation.
- perform data profiling and mapping from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- utilize python for data analysis and transformation, creating efficient workflows to handle large datasets.
- collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights through data analysis.
- communicate findings effectively through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
- troubleshoot data discrepancies and work towards continuous improvement of data quality.
- maintain detailed documentation of data analysis processes and results.
*requirements*:
- minimum of 5+ years of experience working with healthcare claims data for data analysis and etl purposes.
- proficient in complex sql development, including analytics functions.
- strong experience in data profiling and mapping from various data sources.
- working knowledge of python for data analysis and transformation tasks.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly.
- solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for working with data in challenging environments.
- proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- prior experience with healthcare claims data is required.
