supports the execution of the rgm agenda in mexico, focusing on price, portfolio, and profitability initiatives. This role is instrumental in driving revenue optimization, margin expansion, and commercial efficiency. It requires strong analytical acumen, commercial sensitivity, and collaboration across multifunctional teams.
responsibilities - with our consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:
as jr. Manager rgm, you will be exposed to high-impact projects with visibility across commercial, marketing, finance, and global rgm. This role is ideal for those who want to build technical expertise, develop business acumen, and grow into broader finance or commercial leadership roles in the future.
* define optimal pricing across channels based on consumer insights, competitive dynamics, financial indicators, and elasticity modelling, in alignment with our best10 commitments.
* identify and evaluate pricing opportunities by analysing price ladders, elasticity curves, commercial terms, and full value chains to generate actionable recommendations that improve brand performance and gross margin.
* own the end-to-end pricing flow process, including proposal validation, value chain review, approvals governance, pricing upload in sap, and documentation for audit and compliance.
* monitor and track discount and promotional activities; conduct post-event analysis to evaluate effectiveness and support measurement & evaluation (m&e) processes.
* recommend brand-pack-channel mix strategies by analysing portfolio priorities, market trends, and profitability levers to drive share gains and revenue per case improvements.
* behave as a strategic finance partner to marketing, ensuring decision-making is supported by robust and timely analytics aligned to brand priorities.
* collaborate closely with business intelligence to develop dashboards, reports, and tools that enhance visibility of commercial performance and strategic plan tracking.
skills - the skills and experience needed to create your legacy:
* bachelor's degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in rgm, commercial finance, or data-driven roles (statistical knowledge is desirable).
* advanced proficiency in excel and powerpoint; hands-on experience with sap, power bi, or forecasting/reporting tools.
* familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., nielsen, iscam, iwsr).
* strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* intermediate to advanced english, capable of engaging in global discussions and presentations.
