the role of a software development project manager involves overseeing technology projects, defining milestones and ensuring timely delivery. You will exercise technical judgment while working with large teams and discover, deliver and implement tools and processes to enhance engineering productivity and project transparency.
to be successful in this position, the candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field and have 3-5 years of project management experience. Knowledge of the financial services domain is desirable but not necessary.
duties
* oversee technology projects, define milestones and ensure timely delivery
* exercise technical judgment when working with large cross-functional teams
* discover, deliver and implement tools and processes to improve engineering productivity and project transparency
* communicate schedules, priorities and status to all levels within the company
* conduct regular project status meetings while keeping stakeholders informed of project and delivery status. Manage exceptions and communicate issues and risks to the rest of the program
* interact with partners and client technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into recommendations for suitable solutions with reliability at their core
