responsibilities
* provide leadership on a team of integration engineers including coaching and reviews.
* develop key performance indicators (kpis) to manage the performance of the team and all integration processes and services.
* proactively monitor integration issues and service availability, ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently and communication is clear.
* provide customers with documentation, example code, direction, and tools.
* engage with delivery teams to ensure that new features are documented and supportable.
* ensure compliance of all security measures in integration support.
* troubleshoot integration and certification environment issues.
* collaborate with the certification team to ensure products and services are being utilized properly by all customers and that appropriate tests are included for all certifications.
* ensure efficiency by automating manual activities.
* continually evaluate tools and technologies.
* mentor and train other integration engineers and other team members as needed.
qualifications
* bachelor of science - information technology or a related field.
* 8+ years in customer support and integrations to production systems.
* 4+ years of development/scripting experience (java, c#, python, bash, powershell, etc.).
* 2+ years in a senior or leadership role including mentoring, coaching, and training.
* strong understanding of apis, sdks, and other message formats.
* experience with api tools such as soapui, blazemeter, or similar.
* must have strong deductive reasoning & diagnostic problem-solving skills.
* self-motivated, fast learner, willing to go outside of comfort zone and learn new things.
* excellent communication skills, both in the written and the verbal form.
* experience running queries on databases such as oracle, mssql, or cockroachdb.
* knowledge of operating systems and cloud platforms (linux, windows, gcp).
* experience with source code and release management (github, tfs, etc.).
* experience with continuous integration build engines (jenkins, team city, etc.).
* experience with container technology such as docker.
