Job overview
we are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead our team in assigned us gaap accounting, including accruals, account reconciliation, journal entries, consolidation, ad-hoc queries, and adjustments. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that accounting and reporting activities are completed timely and in accordance with company policies (us gaap). You will also supervise and reconcile the assigned key accounts, offering proactive support and service about all the specific and usual requests of the work team.
key responsibilities:
* ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and reporting activities.
* supervise and reconcile assigned key accounts.
* analyze account balances and activities to take appropriate measures to increase accuracy of accounting records.
* supplemental disclosure reporting.
* organize and coordinate internal and external audit deliverables to comply with requirements.
* supervise day-to-day accounting, month-end closing processes, and account reconciliations under us-gaap.
* work with site controller and finance business partner team to ensure accurate and controlled financial statements for the site.
* responsible for balancing team workload and ensuring month-end deadlines and other kpi targets are met for the team.
* help develop environment and culture that supports attraction and retention of quality talent.
* develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls for site operations.
* build culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
* work cross functionally to ensure end-to-end processes work within assigned region or sites.
* maintain good relationship with site leadership to ensure healthy service level.
* supervise team of 6-8 accountants in day-to-day work.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
* 3-5 years of experience with general accounting in manufacturing environment supervisor role.
* english advance skills.
* us gaap knowledge required.
* demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people.
* excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
* strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues.
