A mean stack developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications using the mean technology stack — mongodb, express.js, angular, and node.js.
the role focuses on building scalable, high-performance applications with seamless front-end and back-end integration.key responsibilities- design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end web applications using the mean stack.
- build restful apis and backend services using node.js and express.js.
- develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using angular.
- design and manage mongodb databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
- integrate third-party services and apis.
- collaborate with product owners, ux designers, and qa teams.
- ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
- perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- troubleshoot and resolve production issues.required skills & experience- 5 - 8 yoe strong hands-on experience with mongodb, express.js, angular, and node.js.
- 5 - 8 yoe experience with rest apis, json, and asynchronous programming.
- good understanding of frontend frameworks, html5, css3.- experience with git and ci/cd pipelines.
- knowledge of authentication, authorization, and web security best practices.good to have- experience with cloud platforms (azure / aws / gcp).
- exposure to microservices architecture.
- knowledge of devops practices and containerization (docker, kubernetes).
