shift details:
this position is fully onsite in a 3rd shift: from tuesday to friday 12am to 6am and saturday from 12am to 12pm.
key responsibilities:
will work with shift nurse to tend to all facets of patient care to include but not limited to: medical surveillances, new hire exams, general patient care, etc.
reports directly to the shift lead.
work jointly with shift nurse to monitor distribution and inventory of medications, medical supplies, and other equipment.
report any discrepancies to shift lead.
responsible for upkeep of medical records, as well as timely documentation in emr.
provides patient care to all associates involved in occupational injury/illness incidents.
supports business leaders in reporting injuries/illness cases.
will collaborate with ehs and external agencies such as imss to verify accuracy in reporting.
responsible for reporting any issues during shift lead to include but limited to emergency situations, employee incidents, etc.
ensure employee protection through appropriate occupational health programs implementation, patient care services and health promotion activation in accordance with j&j and local regulations and in close partnership with environmental health & safety (ehs), human resources (hr), facilities, and (shift, site, country, or cluster) leadership.
maintains visibility as an employee health & well-being advocate and ambassador.
participates in health and well-being campaigns.
supports the development and implementation of strategies to elevate the patient experience.
enable data-driven decision-making through fully implemented electronic medical records (emr) and innovative health technologies.
develop and improve individual digital skills across the team to support our initiatives and effectively demonstrate our impact on employee health outcomes and occupational health strategies.
responsible for knowing and complying with emergency response during their shift.
will conduct duties as assigned by shift lead depending on volume at clinic.
assist in preparation for audits, internal and external.
comply with ehw medical training and other local and regulatory j&j policies.
qualifications
education:
required: licensed doctor (non-restricted license) with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
experience and skills:
required:
2 years of work experience
fluency in spanish is required, with excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills.
fluent english is required
license according to local regulation.
knowledge in applicable regulations and ability to manage occupational health related cases, including case management, disability management, return to work, etc.
experience in emergency medical response and medical crisis management.
experience working with electronic medical records
preferred:
preferred aed and cpr certification
occupational health education diploma, certification, or license according to local regulation
