- product knowledge core tools - failure mode and effects analysis (amef/pfmea).
princicipal activities- provide leadership in executing changes that affect customer programs including on-time delivery of drawings/specs (ecrs and cns), dss, and product boms.
- coordinate and lead communication with core engineer, ecat, validation, manufacturing, pc&l, gsm to complete deliverables that affect customer programs and/or production.
- being able to make decisions based on associated cost and financial parameters and assumptions related with design changes and manufacturing program.
- proactively identify potential issues using risk assessment (worst scenario for components) and/or drbfm (design review based on failure mode) to mitigate risk.
- lead/coordinate communications (focusing on electric/electronic topics) with customers, suppliers, and nexteer pdts and other groups into nexteer such as validation team, operations, etc.- drive engineering support of mapp reviews, pfmeas, and enterprise reviews.
