as a member of the central european sales team, the regional partner manager will be responsible for the southwestern region of germany (baden württemberg).
responsibilities include identifying, developing, and expanding relationships with resellers and end-users. The ideal candidate, preferably from that region, will identify sales opportunities in new and existing accounts, collaborating with the channel director central europe and distribution/channel partner teams to convert prospects into customers.
responsibilities
* act as the main contact for all partners (base, specialist, and excellence partners) in the designated area.
* identify and qualify potential new resellers in the region.
* assist distributors in establishing new partnerships.
* develop partners' capabilities in sales, training, and marketing activities.
* create marketing and business plans with partners to acquire new customers and increase revenue, reviewing goal achievement.
* support resellers in closing projects by providing necessary information and onsite customer meetings.
* present datacore, its products, and values to prospective end customers and partners.
* collaborate closely with the regional sales manager and regional solution architect to develop the territory and achieve sales targets.
* meet sales quotas and reporting requirements.
* participate in trade fairs and marketing events.
* evaluate quarterly results for the assigned territory.
skills and experience
* 2-5 years in partner sales.
* experience with companies like hp, nutanix, pure storage, or similar it vendors preferred.
* strong sales drive and goal-oriented mindset.
* hands-on experience with salesforce or other crm systems.
* excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* strong project management abilities.
* structured, analytical, and independent working style with team collaboration skills.
* ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* open-minded, positive attitude, and interest in technology.
* fluent in german (written and verbal) and proficient in english.
education and additional requirements
* bachelor’s degree or professional education, preferably in engineering or mbas, with 2-3 years of software sales experience.
* proven success in similar roles for at least two years.
* experience in solutions sales, selling software or high-tech offerings.
