Site manager / construction supervisor (industrial relocation project)
location: red oak, texas (usa) & querétaro, mexico. Project-based, ~5–6 weeks (mid-july to mid-august). Looking for a hands‑on leader with experience in industrial equipment relocation and installation. This is a fast‑paced, high‑visibility project supporting the transfer of a precision production line (laser equipment) from the u. S. to mexico within an advanced manufacturing environment.
responsibilities
* phase 1 – usa (red oak, tx)
o supervise supplier activities for equipment dismantling & validation.
o ensure technical readiness and ehs compliance prior to shipment.
o coordinate closely with engineering teams.
* phase 2 – relocation
o oversee logistics provider (packing, loading, inventory control).
o validate packing lists, documentation, and traceability.
o support border operations and customs contingencies.
* phase 3 – mexico (querétaro)
o supervise unloading, positioning, and installation.
o coordinate plant layout and setup activities.
o lead supplier activities for reinstallation, calibration, and adjustments.
o support commissioning and startup.
qualifications
* engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, mechatronics or similar).
* 5+ years in industrial supervision, machinery installation, or relocation projects.
* strong knowledge of production equipment, layouts, and installation processes.
* experience coordinating multiple suppliers and stakeholders.
* advanced english (mandatory). Spanish is a plus.
* availability to travel and work on-site in usa & mexico.
* valid u. S. visa / work eligibility required.
nice to have
* experience in aerospace or oem environments (bombardier-type projects).
* familiarity with laser or high‑precision equipment.
* safety certifications (osha / nom).
* commissioning/startup experience.
