What do you do?
As the owner and strategic lead of the Sales and Volume Demand Planning, you:
Collaborate with cross functional teams including Finance, Sales and Logistics to understand demand drivers, events and other business intelligence that will impact forecast.
Develop and maintain demand forecast by incorporating various inputs including statistical forecasts, macro-economic data, sales and marketing plans, market intelligence, customer data, financial plans, and new product information.
Prepare, analyze and present relevant material to facilitate a monthly demand planning cycle and financial sales forecast.
Evaluate forecast results including analysis of accuracy and error metrics.
**Perform a wide range of analytical work including**:
- Wrangle big data, identify and resolve data integrity issues, and produce custom data sets.

**Forecasting/Modeling**: You collaborate with cross functional teams by leveraging statistical and machine learning to measure and project sales and volume forecasts. Drive changes in the forecast that will enhance the forecast accuracy.
**Partnership**: You partner closely with internal stakeholders to identify and unlock opportunities, and with other functions to improve forecasting capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, and data visualization.
**Qualifications**:
- A combination of Bachelors and Master Bachelor's - degrees in STEM and Business (DataAnalytics/Statistics/Computer Science and Supply Chain/Logistics/Finance) (required).
- Five (5) years’ experience required in a quantitative analytical field including experience in predictive modeling/forecasting, statistical methods, operational analysis (required).
- Expert knowledge of data mining/analytics, automation, visualization, and advanced programming (required).
- Consensus forecasting and statistical forecast modeling experience (preferred).
- High technical experience in:
- Programming languages such as R, Oracle, Python, Java etc.
- Relational database (Oracle, SQL S) structure, concepts, and processes.
- KNIME, Power BI, Tableau.
- Comfortable in a matrix, global organization and able to influence cross-functionally.
- Must have a proven track record of taking the initiative, dealing with ambiguity, problem solving and leading change
- Strong analytic skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Expert English communication skills (verbal and written).
