jr. Homologation testing engineer
overview
we’re currently looking for a jr. Homologation testing engineer to join our team in mexico city. This role will focus on conducting emission certifications for alliance vehicles in mexico and latin america, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting iso accreditation.
A day in the life
perform emission testing in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct maintenance on test equipment per supplier recommendations.
Support iso quality system and profepa accreditation.
Collaborate with homologation, government affairs, and cross‑functional engineering teams.
Provide technical support to manufacturing plants on powertrain‑related matters.
Who we’re looking for
required
knowledge of otto cycle engines.
Excellent english communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency in ms excel, powerpoint, and office.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to perform work onsite in mexico city.
Availability for domestic travel.
Desired
bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical/control, or chemical engineering.
Experience with quality systems (iso).
Flexible working time for shift roles.
Prior experience in emission testing or homologation processes.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
