Strategy & consulting - global network - cfo - finance operations transformation manager

Overview

we are growing accenture's finance reinvention practice within the global network — a strategic talent engine that brings specialized finance expertise to clients across markets, industries, and geographies, delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes at scale.

we partner with cfos and finance leaders to support the enterprise-wide strategy by designing and implementing transformation strategies to enable a value-driven, digitally enabled enterprise focused on people, processes, and digital capabilities

as part of the finance reinvention practice, you will be driving the finance transformation agenda anchored on our offerings (e.g. Finance operating model, finance ai and automation, global business services, etc.) and collaborating closely with other accenture practices like technology and operations to build and deliver specific solutions for our clients.

responsibilities
* design and implement finance solutions leveraging best practices and technology integration

* build and develop value business cases to support transformation journeys aiming for productivity, cost efficiencies, etc.

* manage project delivery activities ensuring alignment to defined timelines and overall objectives

* establish continuous communication with project stakeholders (internal and external)

* guide and develop junior team members on assigned project activities, ensures day-to-day work and deliverables quality and consistency

* assist in managing process transition, knowledge transfers and process reengineering.

* partner with change management teams to drive stakeholder alignment, training, and sustained adoption of new ways of working

* support business development activities (rfp response, proposal development, client pitches)

* support the development of finance practice: team members, capabilities and solutions

* contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and creation of reusable assets and accelerators

basic qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or industrial engineering
+8 years of relevant experience in finance transformation or finance advisory roles

* solid understanding of core finance functions and operations (accounting, treasury, planning & forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, master data, etc.)

* hands-on experience in transformation projects related to operating model (e.g. Shared services), end-to-end process improvement (order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, financial planning) and finance organization design

* proven ability to lead teams and manage project delivery end-to-end

* strong understanding of the finance technology landscape: erp architectures (sap, oracle) and other finance technologies (e.g. Anaplan, onestream etc.)

* proactive interest in learning new skills, applications and technologies through intensive and focused effort

* solid understanding of ai / generative ai / agentic and their potential impact on finance processes, with keen interest in emerging trends

* ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* ability to navigates change and ambiguity with flexibility and agility and adapt changing circunstantes to day-to-day work

bonus point
* +5 years' experience within a top tier consulting firm

* hands-on experience in erp-enabled transformations or digital finance solutions implementation

* hands-on experience in transformation projects related to organization design

* pmo or agile methodologies certificate

we deliver our work mostly remotely. However, as part of the global network we are sometimes required to travel and work closely with our clients in their offices. Willingness and ability to work at client’s locations mostly across usa, but also other locations, for short or long term is required.

* fluent or proficient in english

* effective storytelling, both visual (powerpoint) and oral, in english

* strong excel and power point skills ( bi tools is a plus)

* good analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude to learn quickly

* leadership and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
