you will lead technical and safety aspects of onsite installation, maintenance, testing, and startup activities for gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, and generators' control and instrumentation systems, primarily across latin america.
as a control field service specialist, your responsibilities include:
* following established tasks for maintenance or installation according to schedules at customer sites.
* collaborating with team members on installation and maintenance activities.
* executing tasks following quality checklists and interacting with customer representatives and site teams.
* maintaining records of activities and promoting good team relations.
* adhering to safety protocols and company processes.
* performing additional duties as required, aligned with baker hughes core values.
fuel your passion
to succeed, you should have:
* a bachelor's degree.
* at least 4 years of industry experience with iet product training.
* knowledge of control systems like markvie, woodward/micronet, opticom, bently nevada.
* product knowledge including aero lm2500, lm6000, heavy duty gas turbines, centrifugal compressors.
* knowledge of turbine mapping/tuning is a plus.
* intermediate to advanced english proficiency.
* availability to travel locally and internationally (around 85%) and work offshore.
* certificates such as bosiet/thuet are advantageous.
* strong technical, customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* specialization in instrumentation and control panels.
