The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Talent Acquisition team you are expected to contribute to the entire candidate life-cycle recruitment and relationship building. As a Senior Associate you are expected to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You are expected to focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while navigating increasingly complex situations and growing your personal brand and technical proficiency.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 4 years minimum of solid experience in full-cycle recruiting for IT/Tech positions.
- Oral and written proficiency in English.
What Sets You Apart
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical roles (software engineers, DevOps, data, etc.).
- Screening and assessing candidates, as needed.
- Develops and maintains recruiting-related relationships both internally (e.g. business recruiting managers, local partners (FRPs), staff, and HR colleagues) and externally (e.g. job seekers, candidates, and campus stakeholders).
- Reviewing and updating recruiting information systems to confirm data quality and completeness.
- Collaborating with sourcing professionals and business stakeholders.
- Maintaining pipeline reports and presenting regular updates.
- Managing and updating the experienced applicant tracking system.
- Working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
- Demonstrating experience and comfort with cold calling.
- Demonstrating experience and familiarity with CRM systems and Sourcing Technology Tools.
- Being familiar with Boolean search strings and x-ray mining along with appropriate social media posting tactics to attract passive candidates.
- Building and maintaining a network of contacts.
- Executing on the recruiting strategy component for priority open roles and sourcing pipeline strategy for soon-to-be open roles.
- Initiating first contact with prospective candidates, pitching PwC and gaining their interest in proceeding further via call and/or email.
- Conducting preliminary introductory screen by asking a series of standard questions.
- Meeting and exceeding defined metrics including number of submittals who convert into interviews, offers, hires.
- Touching base with candidate as appropriate during and after the recruiting process to further build network.
- Being well-spoken and able to pitch the PwC Story to prospective candidates.
- Planning and participating recruiting events within the firm's markets and/or lines of service.
- Coordinating the logistics and planning of early identification events in the markets.
- Executes virtual recruiting activities which require consistent interaction with students, faculty, and career services for assigned colleges and universities, including virtual presentations and networking events.
- Leveraging available technologies to establish and maintain relationships.
