we are looking for
*global molding engineer*
at our locations in morocco (tanger) or mexico (comonfort, empalme escobedo) or vietnam (hai duong city) or hungary (budaörs) - hybrid.
this role is globally responsible for leading the molding process strategy and defining standards for equipment and tooling.
it serves as the main point of contact for all molding-related topics across plants, driving best practices, feasibility assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
*your tasks*:
- leading the global molding team (technical supervisor)
- establish, develop and supervise local injection molding experts in the plants
- define global standards equipment
- define global standards for molding dies
- establish and develop a reporting / monitoring system (kpi; qlink; )
- monitoring of rfq related to molding
- creation of a database for all molding equipment molding dies
- support of the most important global suppliers for molding equipment and molding dies
- analyze molding process related scrap / customer claims
- support local problem-solving activities if needed
- organize molding best practice sharing among the plants
- support / initiate product design changes for better molding process results
- conduct feasibility studies for molding processes
- education: bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or science
- strong expertise in: process engineering (molding), molding equipment and dies
- work experience:
- experience in overmolding (preferably - automotive wire harnesses): 3-5 years
- knowledge of technical processes related to molding: 3-5 years
- technical knowledge: knowledge of technical processes, automotive wire harness, understanding in technical specifications
- languages: english - business fluent
- competencies: process oriented thinking, ability to analyze, problem solving.
