key responsibilities
assist with the development, testing, or modifications of prototype or production parts, set up appropriate testing procedures and record all necessary data, calibrate test equipment as needed, establish procedures for technical measuring. Evaluates vendors\' operations and products for compliance with company quality standards, compiles data for documentation of test procedures and may prepare reports for presentation to management. Qualify new suppliers to ensure they meet the required engineering specifications as well as the required quality levels.
to be successful in this role, you will likely have
1. direct contact with clients to provide service and attention to quality problems and specific requests.
2. information on the voice of the client, report, monitoring of indicators (ppm, wc, etc.) and action plans to meet objectives.
3. protection of the customer and stopping the production line if the products do not meet the requirements.
4. supervision of the supervisor / quality auditor, ensure that they get the quality objectives of this position, performance evaluation and training
5. administration of human resources under his charge
6. customer complaints management: internal system registration, alert, containment, problem analysis with multidisciplinary team, implementation of permanent actions, update of control plan and quality documents
7. obtain ppap approval in a timely manner on new programs and engineering changes.

essential skills & experience
bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, quality, or related field; or 5+ years of proven sr quality eng. experience. Minimum +5 years of quality experience. Proficiency with microsoft office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with customs, trade compliance, and import/export regulations. Proficiency in english
preferred skills & experience
* master’s degree.
* automotive industry experience (iso 14001 and iatf 16949 preferred).
* experience with plastics manufacturing.
