about the role
* we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented junior operations specialist to join our operations team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone passionate about customer service and process management within the logistics and payment industry. As a junior operations specialist, you will be the first line of support for our customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience through clear communication and accurate operational handling.
key responsibilities
customer support & communication
* handle general inquiries and complaints via phone and email.
* assist customers in tracking cargo, sending payment receipts, and verifying transactions with freight centers.
* provide facility rate updates to customers and communicate clearly about pricing or service changes.
* escalate cases appropriately to billing, collections, or risk teams.
administrative & operational tasks
* process and update payment statuses in the system.
* track cargo eta and manage facility portal updates.
* update and maintain internal databases, especially rate changes.
* manage documentation accuracy (awb/mbl/hbl) and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
* coordinate courier communication for check deliveries or cancellations.
compliance & support functions
* ensure confidentiality of sensitive client and company information.
* identify and report system or platform issues to supervisors.
* proactively flag security or data risks to the appropriate internal team.
basic qualifications
* language: 100% fluency in english (spoken and written).
* education: high school diploma or equivalent.
* experience: 1–2 years in a customer service or call center role (preferably in logistics, operations, or finance).
* technical: comfortable navigating systems, updating databases, and managing basic payment processing.
