Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to support and optimize our manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on SMT assembly and Box build systems. This role requires hands-on experience with electronics production, in particular functional tests, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a Radio Frequency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- In close contact with all the internal stakeholders, the Industrial Engineer shall create the BOM, the assembling specification, set up the functional test means and facilities.
- Drive and act on the DFx in the very early product design stage to ensure the product quality.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by working closely with R&D;, and test team.
- Be responsible for the product quality during the NPI, and mass production.
- To be the key interface between the R&D;, and the EMS to ensure consistent, accurate, and coherent industrial documentation.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing workflows to increase efficiency, yield, and throughput.
- Together with the EMS to set up and optimize SMT line processes, including stencil design, solder paste application, component placement, reflow profiling, and inspection.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and optimize line balancing.
- Conduct time and motion studies, ergonomic assessments, and equipment capacity analysis.
- In the position to assess, and analyze efficient work cells, production layouts, and test, production means and facilities.
- Monitor and improve process performance using statistical analysis and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Perfect command of English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process engineering role within electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with SMT processes, equipment (pick & place, reflow ovens, AOI), and RF assembly/testing.
- Familiarity with RF shielding, signal integrity, and electro-mechanical integration challenges in production.
- Strong knowledge of quality system, and quality management tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Test Software), CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and ERP/MES systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
- Familiarity with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers)
- Experience in DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly)
