a snapshot of your day
start the day by addressing previously open claims and ensuring any pending actions to close these claims are completed. These actions include obtaining responses from internal stakeholders and external vendors, technical inputs from engineering/qm, and project financials and cost evidence from cpm.
the second half of the day involves addressing new claims assigned by the quality management team, issuing notifications to vendors in a timely manner, and scheduling "claim kick-off" meetings with internal teams to initiate the formal claim process.
additionally, the role requires prioritizing meetings, claims, and managing schedules that align with both internal and external teams.
how you’ll make an impact
* recover lost project financials due to vendor non-conformities related to claims.
* build close working relationships with internal customers and external vendors to gather data and successfully resolve claims.
* track nc and ncr to capture costs related to vendor claims and initiate processes.
* negotiate terms of repayment with vendors to maximize benefits for sgre.
what you bring
* negotiation skills to discuss difficult topics with vendors and reach agreements on payments.
* bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; fluency in english is required.
* strong communication skills for internal and external interactions.
* excellent organizational skills for planning and executing daily tasks, prioritizing urgent issues and relevant cases.
* technical understanding to negotiate and argue positions on vendor claims effectively.
* knowledge of contract management, including understanding legal terms and conditions applicable to holding vendors responsible.
