Job description
* performs fabrication, installation, maintenance, and major repairs. Maintains the operation of all building equipment, accessories, and components.
* responsible for various duties in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac), building automation, mechanical, chemical, electrical disciplines and pollution control.
* assists in training and supervision of others in the use of building equipment and components.
* responsible for input in the preparation of the annual budget for repairs and/or replacement of building equipment and/or components.
* supervises building maintenance in the absence of management.
* read and follow the underwriters laboratories code of conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
* performs other duties as directed.
responsibilities
* some university education (equivalent to an associate's degree) in a related discipline plus generally 8 years of directly related experience.
* ability to perform fabrication, installation, maintenance and major repairs to building equipment, accessories and components.
