about the role
we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leave and accommodation coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing leave of absence and accommodation cases in partnership with third-party providers.
key responsibilities
* manage leave of absence and accommodation cases from beginning to end.
* ensure seamless delivery of services by maintaining strong relationships with third-party providers.
* coordinate and communicate with employees, managers, and hr teams regarding leave and accommodation requests.
* analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field.
* 3+ years of experience in human resources.
* 2+ years of experience in leaves and accommodations.
* 1+ years of experience working with third-party providers in the leave and/or accommodation space.
* demonstrated knowledge and awareness of compliance policies, procedures and regulations affecting day to day loaa responsibilities.
* demonstrated proficiency in employment law.
* strong proficiency in laws and regulations, including fmla, and ada.

additional responsibilities
* participate in quarterly reviews with workers' comp carriers and the company's risk management team.
* maintain current knowledge of federal, state and municipal leave and accommodation landscape.
* incorporate compliance policies into day-to-day responsibilities.
* develop sops and training materials.
* present reports to analyze leave and accommodation data and trends.
* support and comply with the company's quality management system policies and procedures.
