the gbs finance sr.
manager plays a key role in the gbs operative model as we move into more functional agendas.
this role is responsible for integrating and developing processes that meet gbs needs and function's needs.
this role is responsible of managing the corporate financial planning agenda for commercial sales and supply chain (our largest functions in gbs), including partnering and aligning it with the functional leads (vp ns svp) of gbs and providing the right insights and recommendations for supporting the decision making and ensuring timely, clear and accurate communication with gbs finance, sector pmo / finance and gbs leadership team of any risks and opportunities identified during the processes.
additionally this role will be the key enabler and creator of the standardization and setting in place of the process across the different functions to ensure that we have a seamless transition into a more functional gbs agenda.

- as gbs grows and we are moving from sector visibility to a functional and capability model, fp&a needs to step up and set the agenda to provide the right strategic inputs for this new ways of working.

- this role will be responsible to ensure we deliver short / mid term fp&a objectives by partnering with functional leads:
- building new cost of service delivery by function capabilities in gbs organization - driving plan at global function level and building process of performance management of cost to serve
- mosaic implementation for taking our gbs cost budget forecasting to the next level for both c&b and opex modules
- further educated on gbs role in pep and sector cost (ie.
incremental costs to pepsico vs. allocation impact in p&l)
- reinforce the gbs/atlas net saving program rolling forecast to be able to timely identify short and long term program risks and opportunities
- key enabler and creator of the standardization and setting in place of the process across the different functions to ensure that we have a seamless transition into a more functional gbs agenda.
- business partnering with functions (commercial sales / supply chain) for everything related to:psp / aop / forecast for function's value realization, value reporting and functional global budget.
- understand and support the strategic agenda of the functions as we move from a sector oriented to capability led, ensure strategy is connected to the financial aspect of the plans.
this role will spend 60%-70% of time in strategy conversation as part of the global functional leadership team, and plating a role in decision making and making sure things are exeuted and delivered.
- quickly develop an understanding of function's financial objectives and strategic plans (value and cost) to effectively play a key role as a business partner, to support financial strategies and plans that enable and unlocks gbs growth
- ensure business financial planning and forecasting processes and its accuracy
- manage function's financials (both value and cost) and give visibility to global functional lead and gbs fp&a teams.
- includes leading the bottom up financial planning processes for the gbs functions and ensuring the right usage of guidelines, calendars and templates for gbs financial information.
- support the function in the construction and management of the global budget (people cost, t&e, g&a and/or inverstments) and ensure the timely communication of risks and opps to gbs fp&a team.
- ensure compliance to financial targets, by identifying risks or deviations to the plan/forecast and partner with function and gbs fp&a teams to ensure implementation of mitigating actions.
