responsibilities
- planning and coordinating the production processes of the site/terminal, based on an efficient management of resources, optimization of the capacity and ensure quality standards to comply with production levels set out in planning and address of the company.
- responsible for budget control of the site and proper management of resources, aiming to optimize operations and reduce costs per ton.
- management and supervision of all areas of the plant, warehouse management (production, maintenance, inventory and quality control)
- optimize the storage and bagging capacity of the site accurately for in order to fulfill the requirements of business plan defined by the commercial area (direct product and physical mixtures).
- maintain inventory accuracy and good storage practices.
- inform your staff in charge, strategies and objectives defined by the company.
- maintain maximum utilization of resources to comply with bp kpi´s & provisions of crc.
- lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the frame of lean, yara operations standards and performance indicators.
- liaise with planning department in order to meet market demand on time and at lowest logistic costs.
- guarantee smooth operations in ports and optimum day-to-day operations on site.
- guarantee maintenance and good asset care strategy procedures, fulfilling bp kpi´s.
- management and control of contractors and partners involved in site operations.
- participate in risk assessment and process safety evaluations.
- ensure that any and all modifications, improvements or changes are fully considered within the context of change management – all such activities to be carried out according to the protocols set out within local project and change management procedures.
- assist the execution of prioritized capex projects to ensure the continuity of operation within yara standards in the site.
- owner of the performance management program (follow up of kpis and adherence of cyclical meetings in the site).
- manage and constantly develop a crew of coordinators and supervisors.
- work closely with stakeholders such as procurement, hesq, planning, logistics, controlling and commercial area.
- constantly update and improve standards in accordance with the continuous improvement mindset.
- ensure compliance with ethics and hesq policies on site operations; as well as promote a yara's
value living culture.
- ensure that any safety related incidents, accidents, environmental breaches or near-misses are reported immediately and that details are accurately recorded.
- ensure that yara’s golden rules and safety management principles for ysm sites are fully understood, communicated and adhered to.
- know and comply with the policy, safety principles, guidelines and hesq standards established by the company, based on the safe by choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements and know and comply with the other requirements defined in the matrix of hesq responsibilities, associated with their position / role.

profile
• professional in engineering career, with specialization in logistics, manufacture,
production management or related areas.
• bilingual.
* experience with lean/six sigma/continuous improvement methodologies
* experience leading operative and administrative staff
* experience in maintenance for facilities & industrial equipment.
* sap knowledge intermediate level as minimum.
* knowledge & experience as internal auditor in iso 9000 nom´s.
* relevant & demonstrable experience managing projects.
* desirable master degree education.

* intermediate accounting
* spirit of collaboration and curiosity
work experience:
-5-7 years of management experience in industrial environment with demonstrated capacity & ability to implement:
- continuous improvement systems & programs efficiently.
-standardizing and implementing processes and procedures in operational activities., etc.
-relevant experience managing operations with financial results analysis.
-fullfill indicators, managing human & material resources efficiently.
-generation and analysis of executive reports.
- knowledge of yara's tools.
- advance knowledge office software.
