About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled NOC Technician to join our growing team. This role is adecuado for someone passionate about network operations, eager to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time, and ready to contribute to the stability and performance of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
Monitoring & Alert Response: Continuously monitor network infrastructure (routers, switches, servers) using network management systems to detect and respond to performance issues and outages.
Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve network problems through diagnostic tests and ticketing systems, ensuring a stable and secure network environment.
Maintenance & Configuration: Install, configure, and update network devices and software; optimize server capacity to meet traffic demands.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, monitoring systems, repairs, and cabling layouts.
Customer & Team Support: Provide technical support to internal users and clients, escalate issues when necessary, and offer remote assistance to field technicians.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and third-party vendors on network development, maintenance, and incident resolution.
Qualifications
Experience & Education: Previous experience in a NOC or IT support role is required. A bachelor's degree in a related field or certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA are preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP), operating systems (Linux, Windows), and network monitoring tools.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly identify root causes and implement effective solutions under pressure.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and external clients.
Customer Service: Commitment to delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining user satisfaction.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Soft Skills: Calm under pressure, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
Languages: Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
Work Environment
This role involves working in a dynamic and high-availability environment, requiring flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call support.
