The positionthe human resources manager will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's hr function, ensuring the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while supporting the business's operational and strategic priorities. This role will serve as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted advisor to managers, helping to implement hr best practices and build the people infrastructure required for a growing organization. The hr manager will oversee core human resources functions including: talent acquisition and workforce planning employee relations and performance management organizational development and culture initiatives hr policies, compliance, and administration leadership support and talent development the ideal candidate will feel comfortable operating in a family-owned entrepreneurial environment that is transitioning toward a more institutional structure. This requires a professional who can balance structure and process with flexibility, and who can build hr frameworks while working closely with founders and senior leadership. Key responsibilities the human resources manager will be responsible for the following areas: talent acquisition & workforce planning lead recruitment efforts to attract and hire qualified talent across the organization partner with leadership to identify current and future talent needs implement effective recruitment strategies and hiring processes support onboarding and integration of new employees employee relations & hr operations serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on hr-related matters manage employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting a positive workplace environment ensure consistent application of hr policies and procedures maintain accurate employee records and hr documentation performance management & talent development support the implementation of performance management processes partner with leaders to establish performance expectations and development plans assist in identifying training and development opportunities for employees promote a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement organizational development & culture help strengthen organizational culture and employee engagement support initiatives that enhance collaboration, leadership development, and team effectiveness assist leadership in organizational planning and talent development strategies hr policies, compliance & administration ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations develop and maintain hr policies, procedures, and employee guidelines oversee hr administrative processes including benefits administration and employee documentation partner with leadership to ensure hr practices align with business needs the future of the role the human resources manager will play a critical role in helping the company continue to grow while maintaining a strong and healthy organizational culture. The position leads one person on its team. Education and work experience bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field required. Advanced degree or hr certification (shrm, hrci, or similar) is considered a plus.
