our team crafts large-scale floral installations for ultra-luxury weddings and private celebrations across los cabos and destination venues. We are looking for a
floral designer
with both creative brilliance and strong operational skills—someone who can lead high-level design execution while honoring the elevated standards of our brand.
the role
as floral designer at aria vera floral, you'll lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of all floral elements across our luxury events. This is both a visionary and hands-on role—responsible for shaping design narratives, guiding a skilled team of florists, and ensuring each project runs seamlessly from the first sketch to the final bloom onsite.
key responsibilities
creative direction & floral design
* design one-of-a-kind floral concepts that align with the artistic dna of aria vera and the lifestyle of our high-end clientele
* develop mood boards, color palettes, and full floral presentations tailored to each event
* provide creative direction to florists during the production and installation process
* ensure aesthetic consistency, superior flower quality, and impact across all installations
client engagement
* serve as the floral expert during calls and design consultations with planners and clients
* translate client desires into cohesive design proposals with strategic recommendations
* maintain clear, thoughtful, and elegant communication throughout the planning process
operations & production oversight
* manage ordering, sourcing, and supplier relationships to ensure timely and premium-quality blooms
* plan and coordinate the full production timeline, team responsibilities, and installation logistics
* lead on-site floral installations, managing all setup and breakdown with finesse and efficiency
* troubleshoot design or logistical issues with grace under pressure
team leadership & innovation
* inspire and guide a team of floral artisans, ensuring each member executes with precision and pride
* foster a studio culture of creativity, accountability, and service excellence
* research and integrate current global floral trends and techniques into our offering
your profile
* demonstrated experience designing for high-end weddings or events (portfolio required)
* expertise in floral varieties, mechanics, and luxury event styling
* leadership experience in a team or production setting
* strong organizational and project management skills
* excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
* fully bilingual: english and spanish (spoken and written)
* professional presentation and client-facing experience preferred
* flexibility to work weekends and holidays, aligned with event schedules
