Trade compliance auditor
this role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements for mexico operations and latin america.
the primary responsibilities include:
* evaluating financial statements for accuracy and proper representation, including balance sheets and income statements.
* conducting monthly reconciliations and analytical analysis of accounts, preparing backup and support for balances, and documenting decision-making processes according to mexgaap/usgaap/ifrs standards.
* reviewing and reporting on regulatory requirements for local and us entities, including tax authorities and internal/external auditors.
* establishing effective processes for daily treasury activities, reviewing cash flow, and forecasting.
* participating in internal/external audit team reviews, facilitating remediation of control gaps, and escalating critical issues to senior management.
