Business development executive role
the role of business development executive is pivotal in driving business results across central america and south america, encompassing sales volume, operational spending within budgetary constraints, and share growth.
this position requires seamless execution in both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar environments. The successful candidate will achieve profitable sales and share growth in alignment with sales plan objectives.
key responsibilities:
* collaborate with retail and e-commerce accounts to understand the factors influencing sales within their platforms, including content to develop and execute an effective joint business plan (jbp).
* share and apply best practices for maximizing sales, managing relationships, reporting, driving supply chain efficiencies, and other aspects of the business with internal and external peers globally.
* achieve merchandising objectives, new item acceptance, and adherence to budget allocations.
* develop execution plans that align with the sales business unit strategies with cross-functional/sales business unit resources.
* provide annual and ongoing customer forecasting for new product concepts, initiatives, and annual brand plans with demand planning.
* negotiate and ensure delivery of agreed-upon metrics and contract value; secure terms for contracts, with the ability to bargain and negotiate concessions in the interest of parsing out a final contract containing terms by which all parties agree to abide.
* develop and implement short- and long-term e-commerce growth strategies to increase sales and profits, including analysis of product mix, pricing, promotions, and consumer trends.
* lead development, monitoring, and analysis of sales forecasts and related data, including profitability, rate of sale, promotional performance, etc.
requirements and qualifications:
* bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in sales, business administration, e-commerce, or a related field.
* financial and analytical skills to manage account profitability and investments.
* proficiency in microsoft office suite (word, excel, outlook, and powerpoint).
