the practice – a brief sketch
the technology strategy & advisory practice is a part of accenture strategy and focuses on our clients’ most strategic priorities. We help clients achieve growth and efficiency through innovative r&d transformation, aimed at redefining business models using agile methodologies.
here is a glimpse of your day-to-day responsibilities:
1. work as a lead sap functional solution architect and support with solutions for end-to-end request for proposal or erp assessment requests.
2. engaging with the client and designing new business processes based on customer requirements, scoping, discovering, explaining business benefits and use cases and developing a roadmap to meet expectations.
3. identifying, assessing and solving complex business problems across sap s4 hana erp landscape throughout the project lifecycle, providing subject matter expertise with a strong strategic awareness of the sap market and associated technologies.
4. driving enterprise business, application and integration architecture.
5. assisting clients to build the required capabilities for growth and innovation to sustain high performance.
6. support our business development activities, working with our sales teams in proposal generation, shaping the solution plan and delivery approach for sap transformations.
7. developing our offerings and assets and participate in pre-sales activities.
8. mentoring and developing our people and contributing to asset creations and knowledge sharing sessions.
9. strong desire to work in technology-driven business transformation.
10. the ability to develop technology solutions and value adding propositions and take these to market.
11. deep domain expertise across one/more of retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, hi-tech, life sciences, pharma, telecom. Understanding the domain trends and technology offerings across these industry sectors.
12. proven track record to quickly understand the key value drivers of a business, how they impact the scope and approach of the engagement.
13. strong knowledge of technology trends across it and digital and how they can be applied to companies to address real world problems and opportunities.
14. participation in pre-sales, bid management and overall appreciation of estimation, scoping and assumptions for a large sap ecc or sap s/4 hana implementation using various methods such as asap or activate or others.
15. leading proof of concept and/or pilot implementations and defining the plan to scale implementations across multiple technology domains.
16. exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills - ability to convey technology and business value propositions to senior stakeholders and ability to drive c-suite/senior leadership level discussions.
17. capacity to develop high impact thought leadership that articulates a forward-thinking view of the market.
18. ability to develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships.
19. demonstrated ability to develop younger talent and build a high performing team.
20. flexibility to accommodate client travel requirements.

21. bachelor's degree completed; mba is highly desirable.
22. availability to travel may be required.
23. mastery of english at a professional level (oral and written).
24. minimum experience of 5 to 8 years in sap erp and should have led s/4 hana implementation/ transformation projects (solution architect/ offshore lead)
25. working experience across:
26. experience in design and business blueprint and greenfield implementation of sap ecc or sap s/4 hana core functionalities across sales & distribution, warehouse management, transportation management as part of an enterprise-wide design and blueprint of sap. Deep appreciation of comparative capabilities of sap ecc and their enhancements in sap s/4 hana (1809, 1909, 2020 etc.), across sales and distribution areas.
27. led business workshops and roadmap sessions in defining a solution blueprint for sales & distribution, warehouse management, transportation management in an sap s/4 environment. Expertise in s/hana order to cash, wm & tm and cross functional integration with scm, finance, s/4 hana sales and distribution, warehouse management, transportation management, cross-module integration knowledge with third party planning tools, ability to drive requirement gathering sessions and discussions with business stakeholders and it in terms of adoption of sap capabilities offered in s/4 hana in line with best practices and provide a point of view on transformation/ migrations/ changes from current sap ecc or other legacy erps.
28. demonstrated functional specialization in order to cash, warehouse management, transportation management areas for various industry scenarios. Experienced in contributing to bd/proposals as sme and to lead/guide team across active engagements. Experience in working on practice initiatives, asset creations, conducting knowledge sessions.
29. expertise in sap is across any one of retail, chemicals, oil & gas, utilities, life sciences and healthcare, and demonstrated by real-life projects in the sectors as mentioned.
30. knowledge and experience in implementing sap public cloud or saas offerings. Experience in working across a hybrid erp environment comprising both sap on-prem and sap saas solutions.
31. led and delivered large-scale transformation and / or migration of sap ecc and other legacy erps to the new sap s/4 hana architecture. Deep appreciation of one/more of the functional areas of sales & distribution – o2c, warehouse management, transportation management. Experience in using one/many approaches for phased migration and transformation to sap s/4 sales & distribution, warehouse management, transportation management using either slt or bods or other techniques. Demonstrated expertise in an hybrid erp environment comprising various flavor of sap and other 3rd party erps.
32. understanding of sap’s integration approach and methods such as sap pi or sap cloud integration platform. Understanding of sap leonardo platform w.r.t iot, ai and ml.
33. expertise in creation of business case, functional prototypes in demonstrating the value and impact of an sap s/4 deployment, business value assessment for an implementation (either greenfield or brownfield) of sap s/4 hana. Real life experience in using components from sap activate methodology as part of program implementation.
34. good analytical and assessment skills in driving the discovery workshop, performing the as-is assessment and fit-gap analysis, and providing suggestion of to-be design in terms of cost, tools, people, and organizations (i.e., change management).
