Job summary
to support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an operations manager located in guadalajara, north campus. Reporting to the production manager, the operations manager role is responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.
responsibilities
* manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
* oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate koi.
* supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
* coordinate with other departments and flex sites to drive for excellence.
* coordinate the efforts of the operations team by establishing procurement, production, and engineering services policies and practices.
* ensure iso and safety standards are adhered to.
* report to senior management in weekly operations reviews.
* coach and mentor the operations team.
* leverage industry practices and apply them to internal systems and processes.
* implement appropriate hr strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in engineering in electronics, mechatronics, or related disciplines.
* experience in a similar position.
* strong experience in the metals mechanics industry.
* solid experience in the painting process.
* lean manufacturing knowledge.
* quality tools experience.
* ability to work under pressure.
* end-to-end knowledge of processes.
* leadership skills.
* personnel administration experience.
* communication skills with functional areas.
* excel proficiency (intermediate-advanced).
* demonstrated advanced operations, technical and people skills.
* expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of flex and related business.
* knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies at the site.
