- provide day-to-day support to finance end users in mexico.
- implement finance technology solutions in line with functional stakeholders' needs and the financial accounting it product group roadmap.
- support business integration initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and divestures.
- deliver is/it finance project on time and with a high level of quality.
- create solutions through the translation of technical requirements into functional specifications for the business finance team.
- support period end close and forecasting activities performed by the markets ensuring efficient use and adequate performance of the relevant it tools.
- analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
- deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams
- identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
- ability to drive continuous improvement.
*what will make you successful*
bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; m.b.a. preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area.
- project management experience.
- experience working in an agile/devops environment using design-thinking methodology.
- strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
- understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, waterfall).
- excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies.
- deep understanding of the it landscape in the functional area.
- deep knowledge of sap financial accounting modules such as t&e/concur accounting, payroll posting, sap module communication, electronic accounting, statutory configurations/localizations
- experience with effective communication in english at different levels of the organization.
- experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
- experience with other finance related modules within or outside of sap, master data governance knowledge is a plus.
