Tepia is seeking a high-level google sheets architect & automation expert to take over key projects and help scale our internal data tools.
we aren't looking for a casual user; we need a /"sheet-engineer/" who understands the logic, the limitations, and the automation power of the google ecosystem.the opportunitywe are currently optimizing our workflow and need a specialist to handle an initial backlog of 4–15 hours per week, eventually tapering off to as-needed support once systems are stabilized.what you'll be doing:- formula engineering: design and audit complex formulas (query, arrayformula, regex, etc.), prioritizing calculation efficiency and sheet performance.
- apps script development: build, modify, and maintain custom scripts to automate workflows and integrate with external apis.
- backlog management: take ownership of existing systems, diagnosing performance bottlenecks, and implementing technical solutions.
- data integrity: handle sensitive data with the highest standards of ethics, security, and organization.technical requirements:- google sheets mastery: advanced experience in building robust, scalable dashboards and trackers.
- developer mindset: solid ability to write, debug, and optimize google apps script.
- efficiency conscious: deep understanding of platform limitations (execution quotas, cell limits, and processing speeds).
time zone: must be available to work and communicate within 9:00 am – 5:00 pm pacific time (pt).
