Responsibility level:
meet production objectives to ensure timely service and product functionality.
responsible for meeting assigned production programs through proper management of human resources, technical processes, and materials. Manage assigned customers.
comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
principal duties:
* develop line schedule plans, considering line rates, and prepare production reports.
* implement ec, perform impact analysis, and document to reduce the risk of excess and obsolete materials. Define phase-in/phase-out dates.
* add npi pilot runs to the line schedule.
* control subassembly and finished goods inventory levels, maintaining communication with customers to ensure requests are addressed promptly.
* monitor on-time shipments, lead times, and promise dates to meet targets.
* handle customer service emails, rush orders, and customer requests, including expediting and escalation processes.
* conduct root cause analysis with the value stream team and develop action plans for metric improvements.
* maintain coois system and material master data.
* reschedule based on purchased components and capacity plans.
* create recovery plans with the vst for overdue items or special projects, and track progress.
* participate in kaizen events to improve plant metrics.
* promote a safe working environment.
* support customer service and continuous improvement initiatives.
* monitor and minimize past due items by scheduling proactively and identifying root causes with vst.
* ensure data integrity.
* develop inventory reduction plans with vst for subassembly and finished goods by reworking excess materials.
* engage in self-learning and problem-solving.
* participate in risk assessments, ehs suggestions, and observation programs.
* implement and maintain safety, health, and environmental policies.
* assist committees in identifying risks and environmental aspects.
* participate in training programs.
* define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* maintain system logs in your area.
* follow procedures and instructions in accordance with ohsas 18001 & iso 14001 standards.
* identify and correct unsafe acts, promote safe behavior.
* report potential environmental impacts.
* analyze and prevent consequences of activities before execution.
* contribute to safety, health, and environmental objectives and targets.
* commit to continuous improvement and learning about new strategies.
* attend training on lean & six sigma tools and methodologies.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience.
* strong understanding of mrp sap systems.
* high proficiency in scheduling manufacturing lines based on capacity and bottlenecks.
* knowledge of raw material procurement.
* advanced excel skills.
* proficiency in english for communication.
* minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning.
* personnel department to provide timely updates on shift, salary, and supervisor changes.
