*plant cost accountant*
*objective*:
the plant cost accountant is responsible for ensuring effective financial planning and monitoring of expenses within the manufacturing plant.
*essential functions*:
- collect and maintain comprehensive cost information within an expense database.
- analyze and determine fixed costs.
- prepare budgeting reports for the company and each department to facilitate financial planning.
- develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts.
- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- previous experience in a multicultural work environment is desirable.
- proficiency in accounting software and ms excel (including vlookups and pivot tables).
- *experience*: continuous improvement in accounting practices and methodologies.
- *knowledge, skills, and abilities*: familiarity with oracle erp and sap, advanced excel skills, plant operations cost management.
